Rushcliffe Country Park

Green Flag award winners since 2007, Rushcliffe Country Park is a popular visitor attraction in Nottinghamshire. Work is currently underway to renovate the visitor centre including staff office and toilets.

The Rushcliffe Country Park Lodge, situated within the sprawling Rushcliffe Country Park in Nottinghamshire, embarked on a project to enhance its facilities.

To accomplish this, they enlisted the expertise of Laceys Floors and Walls. The scope of the project was comprehensive, targeting communal staff areas, restrooms, including a disabled-accessible toilet, and the main function facility within the lodge.

The first step involved a complete removal of the existing flooring to create a clean slate for transformation. Subsequently, meticulous groundwork preparation was undertaken to ensure a solid foundation for the installation of wood-effect safety vinyl sheet flooring.

This project not only aimed to improve the Lodge's aesthetics but also prioritize safety and functionality. By opting for wood-effect safety vinyl sheet flooring, the Rushcliffe Country Park Lodge sought to strike a harmonious balance between visual appeal and practicality.

This choice promised the rustic charm of wood while delivering the durability and slip-resistant qualities required for high-traffic areas.

This renovation promises to breathe new life into the lodge's interior spaces, making them more inviting and accommodating for staff and visitors alike.

This project has been nominited for an award at the annual CJF Awards in the "Visitor Attractions" catergory.
